Vedant Fashions Ltd., the company behind popular ethnic wear brands like Manyavar and Mohey, reported a 14.6 % drop in net profit for the third quarter of FY 2025–26 compared with the same quarter last year. Profit fell mainly due to rising operational costs and pressure on profit margins, even though revenue remained relatively stable during the period.
Industry analysts say the contraction in margins reflects increased expenses and competitive pressures in the apparel market, which have weighed on overall profitability. The earnings data suggests that while customer demand has stayed steady, Vedant’s cost structure and pricing mix limited gains for shareholders in this quarter.
