The performance highlights growing consumer acceptance of the brand’s India-centric coffee offerings and disciplined expansion strategy.

Strengthening Presence Across Key States

As part of the Nothing Before Coffee expansion, the brand has announced four new store launches, including its fourth outlet in Surat, second in Vadodara, and third in Ahmedabad. The company has also entered Zirakpur, Punjab, marking its debut in another high-growth market.

Gujarat continues to be a critical state within the Nothing Before Coffee expansion roadmap, with the brand following a cluster-based approach to deepen market penetration and operational efficiency.

Leadership on Growth Strategy

Commenting on the Nothing Before Coffee expansion, Co-founder Akshay Kedia said the brand’s growth reflects strong consumer traction and a focus on sustainable unit economics.

He noted that the company is consolidating its presence in high-performing markets like Gujarat while selectively entering new cities such as Zirakpur, aligning with its long-term ambition of becoming a national coffee brand.

Building an India-Centric Coffee Chain

Founded in 2017 by Ankesh Jain, Anand Jain, Akshay Kedia, and Shubham Bhandari, NBC has grown by targeting emerging cities and offering accessible pricing. The brand’s popularity is driven by its signature Shrappe beverage and a menu tailored to younger consumers.

Today, the chain operates over 100 outlets across 39 cities in 11 states, reinforcing the success of its Nothing Before Coffee expansion strategy.

Roadmap to 150+ Outlets

Looking ahead, Nothing Before Coffee expansion plans include scaling to more than 150 outlets by FY2026. Cities such as Indore, Jaipur, and Lucknow have been identified as core growth markets, alongside continued expansion in metros and fast-growing non-metro cities.

By positioning itself as a homegrown alternative to global coffee chains, the brand aims to capture India’s evolving café culture with locally resonant offerings.
